The opening of the Google office in Vietnam not only marks an important step forward in supporting businesses but also promoting the digital transformation process in our country but also creates many development opportunities for the advertising community.
Google said in a notice sent to customers that from April 1, 2025, the rights and contractual obligations of advertising partners in Vietnam will be transferred from Google Asia Pacific Pte.
In particular, from March 1, 2025, Google Vietnam will become the official partner for all advertising products, replacing Google Singapore.
To ensure the validity of invoices, Google requires partners to provide a tax code, name and address that matches the information registered with the tax authority.
Google's media representative said the company has built a team of on-site staff to improve the quality of service for advertising customers in Vietnam and support the country's digital transformation process.
Google Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established on May 31, 2023 and is currently operating under the management of the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, with a tax code last updated on December 3, 2024.
Google Vietnam going into operation and issuing invoices in Vietnamese, including 10% VAT, will create favorable conditions for domestic businesses.
