In 2023, Vietnamese people order food on Grab, Shopee Food... applications with a total value of up to 1.4 billion USD, equivalent to 35,000 billion VND, or about 90 billion VND a day.<\/p>\n

The information is mentioned in the report on food delivery applications in Southeast Asia recently published by Momentum Works.<\/p>\n

The value of orders placed through applications in Vietnam last year increased by 30% compared to the previous year, an outstanding increase compared to other countries in the region.<\/p>\n

Momentum Works' GMV statistics include all orders created through the app and sent to restaurants, including canceled orders and refunds.<\/p>\n

Southeast Asia food delivery market<\/h2>\n

The two applications Grab and Shopee Food are dominating the market share of ordering food for home delivery in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

Not only Vietnam, Grab's food delivery service is leading in many other countries in Southeast Asia such as Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia.<\/p>\n

In Southeast Asia as a whole, Grab leads the food delivery market with a total GMV of 9.4 billion USD and is far ahead of other competitors such as Foodpanda (2.7 billion USD), Gojek (1.8 billion USD), Shopee Food (1.5 billion USD), Lineman (1.3 billion USD)...<\/p>\n
