Messaging plays an increasingly important role in businesses' business activities, as more than one billion customers interact with businesses weekly through chat platforms.<\/p>\n

In recent years, social networks have seen tremendous growth and become one of the leading product discovery tools in Vietnam, with nearly 50% of consumers using these platforms to discover products and make purchases.<\/p>\n

According to a report conducted by Decision Lab and Meta, Facebook and Messenger have a significant influence in the digital consumption landscape in Vietnam, with up to 89% of social network users active on these platforms.<\/p>\n

To help businesses in Vietnam make the most of conversations with customers, at the Business Messaging Summit event, Meta introduced new messaging solutions for Messenger:<\/p>\n

Business support tool via Facebook Live<\/h2>\n

  • Businesses promoting products on Facebook Live will soon be able to use livestream tools, making it easy for viewers to quickly scroll through introduced products and learn about products via Messenger.<\/li>\n
  • Facebook's live video \"boosting\" feature was opened up to more businesses earlier this year. With the launch of livestreaming, Meta offers advertisers a suite of solutions that help them create a continuous loop from discovery to conversion.<\/li>\n
  • The Facebook Live business support tool is being tested with Pancake partner in Vietnam and will be expanded to other partners this year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Conversational Business solutions<\/h2>\n

    • Built on the latest large language model Llama 3, Meta is developing an AI engine that allows businesses to respond to customers seamlessly, thereby strengthening customer relationships without affecting business uptime.<\/li>\n
    • Meta is testing AI's ability to find leads and drive product consideration through message threads.<\/li>\n
    • AI will understand the business through its product catalog.<\/li>\n
    • Meta is integrating AI into its Conversational Business solution for businesses in Vietnam by the end of 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
